Fall Handwriting Club: 1st & 2nd graders

Does your child struggle with the basic mechanics of handwriting? This 6-week 4:1 handwriting bootcamp club is perfect for students who need to refine their handwriting skills and build their confidence in themselves as a writer. This is the perfect way to start a new school year.

Each week students will learn handwriting concepts and skills to carry over and build off one another to develop their motor automaticity necessary to complete writing activities. Moreover, children will have FUN while practicing something that may seem “too hard.”

This series will be instructed by a pediatric occupational therapy and SMHP handwriting teacher with 12 years of experience working with students with handwriting challenges. Each class will include visual-motor warmups and 15 minutes of each session will include parent education to ensure carryover at home.
