
Introduction to Breathwork & Yoga for Pre-Teens & Teens

In this 90 minute workshop, students will participate in a guided yoga class which will focus on mindful movements and pose instruction followed by an introduction to breathwork including guided instruction, discussion and paper/pencil activities. This workshop will delve deep into the anatomy and benefits of breathing techniques and teach students the “whys” and “hows”.
Students will learn a variety of breathing exercises to reduce anxiety and improve self-regulation which they can utilize in everyday life. All students will be provided with worksheets to ensure carryover of newly learned techniques.
