
Tweens Yoga & Journaling Workshop
Join me for this 1.5 hour Tween Yoga & Journaling workshop. This includes a yoga & mindfulness class followed by an introduction to journaling lesson. Each student will be provided with their own journal and pen. During this workshop, students will engage in group discussion and be provided with writing prompts in order to integrate this
practice into daily life. This is the perfect age to start the habit of journaling and allows tweens to
relieve mental and physical stress.
“We hold onto what we don’t put down.” With much unpredictability and new experiences faced
during the tweens years, journaling is an effective tool and outlet to explore thoughts, ideas and
emotions. It also encourages self-reflection, free-writing and literacy skills.
